Course General Description

In the Art course we tackle the preservation of painting on wood, canvas and other carrying surfaces and decorative techniques in the context of the interiors of buildings. The curriculum of the Bachelor’s degree programme in the Art department provides the student with the theoretical basics and practical skills for the conservation and restoration of objects, which fall under the three main categories: painting on wood; decorative techniques in the context of the interiors of buildings; and painting on canvas.
