Student Reviews
I enjoyed this course. To be able to see how a professional designer works day to day is very valuable but I was hoping there would be a little more focus on the logo design process itself. - Tyler Trapp
So far so good. Helped me realize where I was lapsing, especially in building good rapport with the client by keeping a good communication line. Great stuff!!! - Beltarzar Nicholas

Creative Director; Online Teacher to over 100,000 students
I love helping students realize their full potential, and turn their interests and passions into strong skill sets and careers.
I have worked in the creative media industry for almost 15 years, and have dabbled in virtually every art and design form out there. From hand-illustrating logos to creating websites for global brands, I know what it takes to succeed as a graphic designer, a freelancer, and a business owner.
I am passionate about helping others find success doing what they love – I have spent time in community college classrooms as well as teaching over 100,000 students online on several different platforms. I have taught photography, web design, graphic design principles, and more.
Students that enroll in my Udemy courses have access not just to my course materials, but to myself and my team as well. Online education can be a tricky thing, since everything happens virtually, with no in-person communication or guidance. I am committed to helping my students get the help they need to find success – no matter what course they are enrolled in!
My Professional Experience:
I have spent my entire career in the creative arts and marketing sector. Starting back as early as high school where I turned homework into paying gigs, my love for all things art and technology driven has only continued to grow. I had the opportunity to work with brands such as MTV, Nintendo, and Netflix while employed as an intern for Seven 2 Interactive, which definitely set the course for my career. My branding work and graphic design has been included in international publications for the design industry and regularly featured on trending websites.
I am a total education nerd, and have been a lifetime student of productivity and time management. I have invested thousands of dollars in books and programs around the topic to maximize the productivity of myself and my design agency, and I love using what I have learned to help my clients and students make more money while working smarter, not harder.
IN addition to owning my own design agency, I also spent several years as the Creative Director for a firearm and defense company based out of Montana - a job that let me stretch his creative muscles and make some epic things each and every day.
My Courses:
I primarily teach graphic design, although I also teach students how to succeed as freelancers and how to be more productive. My courses are highly rated, reflecting the time, care, and attention I put into creating each and every one.
My Life Outside of Work:
I live in Montana with my wife, four daughters, and two dogs. I love paddle boarding, mountain biking, and snowboarding, and try to take advantage of all that my beautiful hometown has to offer whenever possible.
In my spare time, I love making GoPro videos with my kids, and finding ways to continue to evolve my craft as a designer and artist.
