In this course you will learn from Parker Pierce, a free lance animator and pixel artist. You will learn to build pixel tilesets for level design in game development. You will learn to build your grid, sketch your tiles, and then make several different sizes and types of tiles that work and flow together. There is also a section on observation where you will be looking at tilesets from successful video games that use pixel art to see what can be learned from them and how you can apply it.

My name is Parker Pierce, I am a freelance animator and artist. I have a bachelors degree in digital art and design from Digi-pen University. I currently do full time freelance work, a couple groups I have worked with are Power House Studios, and the you tube band Ninja Sex Party. I am currently teaching a class on Udemy for creating tilesets in pixel art for video games. More classes are in development.
