Course General Description

The arts, media and engineering concentration program focuses on the integration and application of humanistic, computational and design knowledge in tackling complex problems. The concentration provides opportunities for exploring experiential media systems through theoretical analysis, creative engagement and practical development. AME students combine design excellence with technical rigor in creating hybrid objects, adaptive systems and responsive environments. Graduating students will be prepared to lead innovative design and development initiatives at corporations and other institutions at the forefront of media culture.

ASU is the largest public university by enrollment in the U.S. ASU's charter, approved by the board of re- gents in 2014, is based on the New American University" model created by ASU President Crow.
