Course General Description

The BFA in digital photography teaches students to master the technical, aesthetic and conceptual aspects of photography in the information age. Through assignments, readings, lectures, critiques, discussion and projects, students work with classmates, artists and faculty to develop and refine their own creative vision and comprehensive knowledge of the theory, practice and history of photography. Not bound by traditional schedules or the limitations of location, this program's flexibility creates a unique community of instructors and students and provides studio-practice art education to a wide and diverse student population.
