Course General Description

You’ll come to CCAD with a burning imagination. With classes in 2D, 3D and experimental animation, as well as game art, motion graphics, digital modeling, lighting and more, we’ll give you the tools and techniques to set the fire ablaze. In this Animation degree program, you’ll have access to industry-standard facilities and expert guidance from creative faculty. It’s a quick-paced, electric, collaborative environment focused on pushing you to create your best work. You’ll graduate as a multifaceted creator ready to shape the animation industry.

CCAD teaches undergraduate and graduate students in the midst of a thriving artistic community in Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1879, CCAD is one of the oldest private, nonprofit art and design colleges in the United States and, in 2019, the college is celebrating 140 years of creative excellence. CCAD offers 12 BFA programs and two master’s programs in art and design that produce graduates equipped to shape culture and business at the highest level.
