Course General Description

You’ll come to CCAD with creative talent, natural curiosity and an inclination for action. Through collaborations with peers, faculty and real-world clients such as General Motors and Airstream, you’ll leave our Industrial Design program a motivated and visionary design leader. Working on projects focused on complex issues in the global marketplace, you’ll analyze, define and conceptualize realistic solutions. Here at CCAD, you’ll find that you can improve the world by reimagining and executing the designs of everything from boats, bicycles and cars to water bottles, subway systems and shoes.

School General Description

CCAD teaches undergraduate and graduate students in the midst of a thriving artistic community in Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1879, CCAD is one of the oldest private, nonprofit art and design colleges in the United States and, in 2019, the college is celebrating 140 years of creative excellence. CCAD offers 12 BFA programs and two master’s programs in art and design that produce graduates equipped to shape culture and business at the highest level. CCAD fosters a community that educates diverse students so they can unleash their creative power to shape culture and commerce.
