Course General Description

This Program trains students to become professionals with solid and broad theoretical foundation, complex knowledge structure, innovation and plan ability, excellent expressive skills. Our graduates will not only work in the field of industrial design, but also in areas such as mass media, fashion, environment, arts and crafts. Industrial Design Program is unique in that it focuses on the design of fashion products such as jewelry, hats, cases, bags, and spectacles, as well as the design of electronic products, transportation products, furniture and environmental facilities. Therefore, it interacts with subjects on fashion design, visual communication, environmental art, materials and engineering. We also have strong links with enterprises. For example, the jewelry design course is co-built with Italina Group. The crystal design course is co-built with Swarovski.

Donghua University ( Donghua means eastern China area in Chinese ) is a public research university in Shanghai, China. Established in 1951, DHU is one of the state-key universities directly under the Ministry of Education of China and is a member of China's Project 211 group of national universities. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Double First Class Discipline University, and is especially well known for its engineering, management, design and materials disciplines. It has been a national key university since 1960 and was one of the educational institutions in China authorized to confer all three levels of degree: bachelor's, master's, and doctorate.
