Course General Description
Communication Design Foundation is an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) program within Communication Design Pathways Department. On completion of this degree, students are eligible to apply for a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Advertising and Digital Design, Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design. Communication Design Foundation provides students with a comprehensive study of the diverse means and tools of visual communication. In this program you will study, digital desigh, design process, typography, and color theory, and develop the fundamental abilities that lead to a successful career in the increasingly competitive design professions. Because today's marketplace requires multidisciplinary experience, you will master a wide arrange of design skills that include technology, and learn to develop conceptual ideas that lead to outstanding design.
