Course General Description

The Design course offers three courses to choose from: Graphic Design, Product Design and Building Design. The areas are based on investigation of transformation processes, raw materials, quality, market, visual communication, logistics, usability and ergonomics. First years of study compulsory subjects are offered to the students of all areas of design, such as aesthetics and technical design. From the 4th year of study, the students may choose optional subjects more focused on the area in which they intends to work.

The Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) is a public institution that is recognised as an outstanding centre of excellence in Brazil.
