Training of specialists in the field of planning organization of open spaces, design of the external environment, design, construction and maintenance, reconstruction and restoration of objects of landscape architecture and garden and park art, monitoring of their condition and cadastral registration of plantations, management of green areas in natural and urbanized landscapes.

Povolzhsky State Technological University (PSTU, Volgatekh) is the only technical (technological) and one of the first universities of the Republic of Mari El , the largest educational and scientific center of the republic.
