Course General Description
We are the largest specialist ceramics programme in Ireland boasting superbly equipped facilities covering the full breath of ceramic processes and delivered as a four-year BA (Hons) programme. We teach a wide range of methods including throwing, hand-building, plaster mould-making, slip-casting, 3D technology, glazing and firing. On the programe you will gain professional expertise in studio practice, industry design and manufacture, community engagement, curation, and digital technology. The breath of your career choice includes artist-maker creating functional, decorative, figurative or conceptual objects, to the designer exploring new technologies through art, craft or design. You may also become a gallery artist / owner, creative entrepreneur, model maker, studio potter, production designer, sculptor, curator or educator. We welcome direct entry applications to years 2, 3 and 4 from those with level 6 qualifications or higher and those with relevant prior learning.Tuition Fees
