Course General Description

The Year One Art and Design (Common Entry) programme introduces you to the most current issues in Art and Design. We help you discover the discipline to which you are best suited through practical studio projects supervised by our team of practicing artists and designers. Over two semesters (23 class hours per week), you will be provided with the necessary skills, vocabulary and contextual knowledge allowing you to progress to the second year of our exciting range of Honours Degree programmes. Year One is the gateway to the following programmes that encourage you to become articulate, informed, expressive and capable of making a significant contribution in your creative field.
