Investigate and explore art theory and practice throughout history. Dive into how politics, religion, philosophy, literature and other fields influence art while cultivating your studio practice. With the benefit of working closely with a dedicated, professionally active faculty, the program provides a strong preparation for careers in fields such as museum studies, gallery work and publishing in the arts.

School General Description

Moore College of Art & Design is a private college focused on art and design and located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Its undergraduate programs are only available for female students; its other educational programs, including graduate programs, are coeducational. Moore now offers ten undergraduate programs including Art Education, Art History, Curatorial Studies, Fashion Design, Fine Arts with emphases in 2D and 3D, Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation & Game Arts, Interior Design, Photography & Digital Arts, and Liberal Arts, each leading to a Bachelor of Fine Arts(BFA).
