Course General Description

Scenographic Design is a theoretical-practical career that allows developing the skills and abilities related to creativity, sensitivity, artistic taste and specific skills, encouraging integration for teamwork. It provides a wide range of historical, artistic and technical knowledge, enabling the scenographer to project and perform scenographies and eventually fulfill the roles of props, figurines or makeup artists. The scenographic designer is trained to design and perform scenographies for: theater, television, cinema, concerts, ballet, musical comedy, opera, regional and national parties, advertising shorts, acts and ceremonies, events, shows, festivals, stained glass , stands and exhibitions, period and style atmospheres, historical recreations and facilities.

School General Description

UNCUYO is composed of 12 faculties, all of them located in Mendoza. They offer undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies. The University also runs three Institutes: Balseiro Institute in Bariloche (Rio Negro Province), Technological University Institute (ITU) with branches all around the territory of Mendoza Province and the University Institute of Public Security. Mendoza is a stunning combination of mountains and vineyards where you can enjoy the snow-capped mountain peaks while sipping a glass of local wine. Although the city has a European feel with its lakes, nightlife and bistros, adventure tourism with snowboarding, skiing, biking, paragliding, horse-riding, fishing, climbing, hiking and rafting in the nearby Andes is available.
