Course General Description

This course explores crossover influences and techniques shared between film and theatre, while also giving you a situated understanding of the practical differences between these two creative industries. Through modules, workshops and seminars with visiting speakers, you will integrate and expand your knowledge of the interplay of film and theatre, historically and in contemporary practice. On this course, you will develop your individual voices as thinkers and doers, whether through exploring the practical medium of film or the craft of live theatrical performance, or through growing as a critic/researcher/scholar.
