Course General Description

As a Fine Arts student at Otis College, you’ll work through your ideas and make them visual. In this small, mentor-based program, you’ll work one-on-one, artist-to-artist, with our faculty of working professionals. You can choose from three concentrations: Painting, Photography or Sculpture/New Genres, but the course's team encourages you to work in an interdisciplinary way. Within each concentration, you can choose an area of emphasis in Drawing, Editorial/Fashion Photography, and Film/Video.

The College mission is to prepare diverse students of art and design to enrich our world through their creativity, skill, and vision. Alumni and faculty are Fulbright, MacArthur, and Guggenheim grant recipients, Oscar awardees, legendary costume designers, leaders of contemporary art movements, entrepreneurs, and design stars at Apple, Abercrombie & Fitch, Pixar, DreamWorks, Mattel, Nike, and Disney.
