Course General Description

In this MFA Fine Arts program, you’ll learn to refine your personal artistic vision, think critically, and cultivate a lifelong studio practice. With the guidance of our dedicated faculty of professional artists, you’ll realize your creative ideas in the context of contemporary issues and concerns. You’ll work in your own studio in Culver City’s thriving arts district, a regional hub of galleries and studios. We emphasize interdisciplinary collaborations and critical dialogue within our intimate community. We also offer the option to focus on the field of Social Practice.

Established in 1918, Otis College of Art and Design is a non-profit 501(c)3 institution and national leader in art and design education. The College mission is to prepare diverse students of art and design to enrich our world through their creativity, skill, and vision.
