Landscape architects define the appearance of agglomerations, natural and historical territories. Graduates plan and design parks and gardens, landscapes and open spaces in public, commercial, industrial and residential areas.

School General Description

The decision to create an international Peoples' Friendship University in the USSR was dictated by the need to provide assistance to the countries that won freedom from colonial dependence at the turn of the 1950s-1960s. The main task of the PFU was to train highly qualified national personnel for the countries of Asia , Africa and Latin America , brought up in the spirit of friendship between peoples. In addition, the University provided an opportunity to get higher education for Soviet youth.
