Course General Description

The MSc (LM-4) program in Architecture for Sustainable Design responds to the consolidated demand - also at a European level - for skills that master the complexity of the design process in different areas and on different scales, in order to sustainably construct, convert and modify the physical environment and landscape. Graduates in Architecture for Sustainable Design also acquire a cultural education that allows them to approach, with awareness and competence, the aesthetic, distributive, functional, structural, constructional, managerial, economic, social and environmental issues, always relating them to sustainability.

The Polytechnic University of Turin is a public university based in Turin, Italy. Established in 1859, it is Italy’s oldest technical university. The university offers several courses in the fields of Engineering, Architecture and Industrial Design. Campuses of the Politecnico di Torino draw inspiration from the structure of Anglo-Saxon ones, with multipurpose buildings for teaching, basis and applied research and services to the students in Turin, and a regional network of technological centers (Alessandria, Biella, Mondovì, Verrès), dedicated to research activities, technological transfer, specialist education and services to the region.
