Course General Description

The MSc in SYSTEMIC DESIGN “Aurelio Peccei” is one of the most innovative educational programmes at international level and is pursued in close collaboration with Kyoto Club, Club of Rome, ZERI/Blue Economy and other institutions. The course in Systemic Design prepares designers capable of configuring and managing the complete industrial product design activity, with the aim of achieving “zero emissions”. This Master aims to promote and further a design culture that place man at the centre of his social, cultural and environmental surroundings. A culture in which interest in innovation relates to a vision of the problems from a different angle and with a multidisciplinary approach to the production system, which is also attentive to the humanistic components.

The Polytechnic University of Turin is a public university based in Turin, Italy. Established in 1859, it is Italy’s oldest technical university. The university offers several courses in the fields of Engineering, Architecture and Industrial Design. Campuses of the Politecnico di Torino draw inspiration from the structure of Anglo-Saxon ones, with multipurpose buildings for teaching, basis and applied research and services to the students in Turin, and a regional network of technological centers (Alessandria, Biella, Mondovì, Verrès), dedicated to research activities, technological transfer, specialist education and services to the region.
