Course General Description

RMIT University has become a leader in public art, public and social practice by taking a multidisciplinary approach to creative practice that engages critically with contemporary urban culture. The program engages with practice based creative arts inquiry to explore key issues confronting global public environments. It has a strong international focus, supported by projects undertaken both locally and overseas. You’ll examine the connections between theory and practice and engage with issues central to international cultural, political and social debates. With an emphasis on work­-integrated learning, you'll develop conceptual and practical skills to undertake collaborative and individual projects within site and location specific contexts.

Requirements

You must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school) qualification.
Equivalent qualifications may also include completion of the RMIT Foundation Studies program or a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.
