Course General Description

The Costume Production course will provide you with the understanding and skills needed to pursue a successful career in the production and management of historical and contemporary costumes and accessories. You will develop your garment making skills and produce costumes for use in fully realised theatre shows, working to designs by professional or student costume designers. The garments that you produce will be durable enough to withstand the rigours of performance. You will also experience the whole range of responsibilities involved with being initially a wardrobe assistant and then a wardrobe supervisor.

Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance (formerly the Rose Bruford Training College of Speech and Drama) is a drama school in the south London suburb of Sidcup. The college has degree programmes in acting, actor musicianship, theatre arts, and various disciplines of stagecraft. Rose Bruford College is accredited by Drama UK.[3][4] The college's undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications and programmes were validated by the University of Manchester, prior to the college gaining its own taught degree awarding powers in 2017.
