Course General Description

The profession of the architect is one of the most interesting, creative and sought after. Compulsory practice in specialized organizations is included in the learning process, which opens up additional employment opportunities after graduation. Almost all of our students begin to work in their field immediately after graduation, and the architectural workshops of the city submit applications for the most talented and creative students long before they complete their studies. Many students begin their independent architectural activity still within the walls of the university, participate in professional contests, and become their laureates. Teachers of the Faculty of Architecture are architects with impressive work experience; among them are practicing designers, candidates and doctors of science, heads of design organizations in St. Petersburg. Faculty teachers are true professionals in their field; they constantly keep abreast of the latest trends in the global architectural progress. The quality of education at the faculty meets the most stringent international standards, which has been repeatedly confirmed by the victories of our students in international competitions and reviews of student works.
