Course General Description

Diagnose needs, coordinate market opportunities, reflect critically on sociocultural changes, integrate emerging production processes to maintain connectivity to industrial reality, are the goals of Fashion Design training. The solidity of these bases guarantees a more creative pragmatic formation and promotes the expression of the author universe, of the own identity, of the singular vision in the complexity of the contemporary world.

School General Description

In 1989, a group of teachers created a school with a new vision of design which aimed to respond to the teaching gaps in this field and the needs of a changing industry. Today, with around five thousand students who have graduated, ESAD is a reference in design and the arts, in Portugal and worldwide.
