The visual effects and gaming industries in India are rapidly expanding. A key feature of this is a gradual rise in production of original content produced within the country. There has also been an expansion of regional and multilingual content. Along with a significant flow of outsourced work from foreign productions, these industries are opening up innumerable job opportunities. There is a demand for highly skilled qualified talent that merges technical and artistic skills. The content being produced for local and international consumption now requires a broader pool of talent with expanding job profiles. Individuals with good technical abilities should also have a broad understanding of related fields, intricacies of these industries and future possibilities.

School General Description

Srishti Institute of Art, Design & Technology (Srishti) is a design school established in 1996 by the Ujwal Trust in Bangalore, India. It offers design education in Digital Video Production, Film, Visual Communication, Experimental Media Arts, Design in Education, Textile Design, Animation and Visual Effects, Interaction Design, Product and Interface Design, Furniture and Spatial Design, Business Systems and Design and much more. Srishti has a number of centers and labs that offer practice- and research-based environments for students and faculty from a multitude of disciplines.
