Course General Description

In the Diploma of Information Technology, you’ll specialise in the field of web design and web development, learning the skills and knowledge needed to work in a range of front-end design and development roles. You’ll develop skills in web design that focuses on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. You’ll also gain experience in web development that has an emphasis on creating dynamic database-driven web content. You’ll learn UI design based on UX methodologies, wireframing and mockups with rapid prototyping. You’ll also get to explore image enhancement, Javascript, PHP and the database management system, MySQL.
