Course General Description

The Master of Architecture provides a pathway to future-focused professional practice in Architecture, as a registered architect, through a practice-based, studio-learning model. The course provides a framework for engaging contemporary design practice as computational form-searching and evidence-based, through information retrieval, searching and optimisation, supported by complementary coursework in data, theory and fabrication. Core professional practice studies prepare students for the current status and future trajectories of the regulatory, ethical, entrepreneurial, and management landscape of professional architectural practice. The research-driven, studio-centric curriculum provides students with global understanding of built, virtual and Industry 4.0 environments through local engagement.
