Course General Description

The Direction of Industrial Design covers all of the areas of technical design including various types of household, vehicle, urban, business, recreation, technical equipment design, serial as well as exclusive. It has existed in the Academy since 1961, first as the Chair of Industrial Art, then as the Chair of Design and currently as the Faculty of Industrial Design. The Faculty aims to provide students with profound knowledge and equip them with necessary skills to build a successful career in this as well as the related areas. For this purpose, it is focused on achieving compatibility with leading trends worldwide and studying the specifics of the local market.

School General Description

The mission of the TSAA is to contribute to the spread of universal values and promote artistic/creative and research activities in the fields of fine arts, design, media arts, architecture, restoration/conservation and art history and theory. The TSAA is guided by values that are based on the principles of academic freedom and envisage the preservation and development of national cultural traditions with a view to promoting public welfare and finding a respectful place on the international scene. Currently, five faculties operate at the academy, those of Visual Art; Architecture; Restoration, Art History and Theory; Design; Media Art. The Academy aims to contribute to the development of students' identity and interests and support research-based practices by drawing on traditional as well as modern research.
