Course General Description

The Chair of Jewellery and Metal Decorative Plastics was established in 1969. Since 2003, the specialisations of cloisonné enamel and decorative metalwork have been set up, along with a number of workshops and laboratories including an experimental cloisonné enamel and jewellery laboratories and metalworking, chasing, black-smithery, mechanical and instrumentation workshops.

School General Description

The mission of the TSAA is to contribute to the spread of universal values and promote artistic/creative and research activities in the fields of fine arts, design, media arts, architecture, restoration/conservation and art history and theory. The TSAA is guided by values that are based on the principles of academic freedom and envisage the preservation and development of national cultural traditions with a view to promoting public welfare and finding a respectful place on the international scene. Currently, five faculties operate at the academy, those of Visual Art; Architecture; Restoration, Art History and Theory; Design; Media Art. The Academy aims to contribute to the development of students' identity and interests and support research-based practices by drawing on traditional as well as modern research.
