Course General Description
If you are aiming to work as 3D a animator or motion capture animator in the games, film and TV industries, then this course is for you. It has a clear focus on the creation of 3D computer animation for games, film and TV, and begins with fundamental skills common to all animation roles, in drawing and pre-visualisation, cinematography, asset design and modelling, 2D and 3D key frame animation and simulation. The inclusion of motion capture and performance modules for real-time or photo-real animation make this a distinctive programme, and gives you an opportunity to experience working in a large development team, producing animation within the context of computer games. It equips you with valuable skills in this growing area of animation, which is used in both games and film animation production. You also gain experience of the wider animation pre-production and production pipeline in team modules shared with the games pathways where you can work as animators or motion capture specialists.Tuition Fees
