Course General Description

Studies are based on contemporary urbanity as a context for the design of architectural proposals. The objective of the programme is the development of architectonics based on an artistic management of programme development and proposal preparation, expressed through specific architectural projects. Studies aim at an open work understanding, focusing on topology and morphology, programme and action space, urbanity and cartography. The studies develop the students’ skills to master the complex operational forms of architecture, profiling and sharpening a discussion about architectural standpoints.

The curriculum is based on a combination of theory and practice. A substantial part of the teaching takes place at the drawing board and in workshops, as well as joint presentations and academic seminars between small units of teachers and students. In line with KADK's international vision, our students and staff develop their skills in constant dialogue with the international environment, ensuring that the quality of our activities is continuously improving.
