Course General Description

This is an innovative research programme exploring diverse exchanges between the creative arts, humanities and physical and social sciences. It combines research and practice to provide a critical environment within which students are encouraged to challenge existing disciplinary definitions. It focuses on interdisciplinary research methodologies and experiments with creativity across media and fields of knowledge, including new technologies when appropriate. Drawing on resources within Edinburgh College of Art and the wider University, this is a programme that is tailored to support each student’s individual research project for which a proposal should be submitted as part of the application process.
