Course General Description

In addition to developing and coordinating designs, plans and measures, the particular activities involved in land-use planning lie in the use of planning instruments on different levels (urban, regional and national planning, European land-use planning). Social and economic structures and processes within the framework of political objectives play an important role during implementation. Graduates of this master's programme possess a core specialist skill set, comprising a range of theoretically and methodologically sound tools for analysing the spatial circumstances when dealing with the diverse tasks involved in land-use planning and in developing alternative solutions.
