Course General Description
Designer Maker course will help you to develop all the skills you need to establish yourself as a craft practitioner. You'll be able to study the course on a part-time basis over 6 years, benefiting from the strong emphasis on design practice and making, and giving you a solid understanding of materiality and function. You will be able to develop your creative thinking and experiment with a range of materials to produce installations, prototype product design, and retail ready pieces. Use our fantastic facilities to learn technical skills in ceramics, stained glass, kiln-formed glass, metals, and textiles. Many of our past students have gone on to work in the UK and abroad with organisations such as the Craft Council, Conran Design, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Imperial War Museum.Tuition Fees

Requirements
Minimum English language level equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (Academic) with a minimum of 5.0 in all four papersSenior secondary school certificate above GCSE level.
Satisfactory portfolio of art, design and craftwork
EU students are required to have a GCSE qualification or equivalent in Maths and English or obtain them as part of their course.
