Course General Description
The course is the natural progression for graduates of related Foundation Degrees of Higher National Diplomas and responds to the rapidly changing needs of the digital designer. The course is a mixture of practical and theoretical elements, with assessment being mainly of practical outcomes. Each module has a practical and theoretical element that varies year on year depending on new developments in Digital Media, usually consisting of major practical project and a written component, such as a blog. Culture and Critical Studies is assessed through a written dissertation. This unique course aims to produce informed and skilled practitioners with the knowledge and skills to enter and contribute to the world of digital design.
