Course General Description

This course, run by Brighton Film School (BFS), provides you with the opportunity to acquire the fundamental knowledge, techniques and tools you need to navigate the film industry and build a sustainable career in film and related creative industries. BFS runs one of the few degree courses that still teaches on professional super 16mm and 35mm film cameras and their modern counterparts, 4K digital cinema cameras. The course introduces you to a variety of film genres and styles, exploring the principal creative, technical skills and roles found in the film industry including screenwriting, directing, cinematography, producing, sound mixing, editing, continuity/script supervision and production management.
