Course General Description

Fine Art Practice course will develop your knowledge and understanding of what makes contemporary art and provide you with the skills and inspiration to create it. Studying full-time or part-time, you will enhance your research, theoretical precepts and work related learning opportunities over the next three or six years, while engaging in exploration and articulation of Fine Art texts and artefacts, helping to prepare you for various roles in the industry. You will develop your technical and practical skills in painting, printmaking, sculpting and installation, while exploring a range or mixed media, film and photography. Industry experts, specialist practitioners, and recent graduates, will provide you with interesting and engaging lectures to give you inspiration for your studies and future career. This course is taught at University of Brighton partner college, East Sussex College Group. Upon successful course completion, you will receive a degree from the University of Brighton.

Requirements

Minimum English language level equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (Academic) with a minimum of 5.0 in all four papers
Senior secondary school certificate above GCSE level.
Satisfactory portfolio of art, design and craftwork
EU students are required to have a GCSE qualification or equivalent in Maths and English or obtain them as part of their course.
