Course General Description
Landscape architecture involves the planning and design of outdoor areas in both public and private settings, such as parks, gardens, campuses, commercial centres and waterfront developments. By studying at UC you’ll examine the complexities of urban and regional spaces across all layers of the landscape, while investigating topical issues in landscape architecture theory and practice. The rich and culturally diverse ways in which landscapes are understood will be explored, especially from Indigenous perspectives. This dynamic and innovative course combines research-led teaching with practical learning including design studio activities, seminars, tutorials and field trips. At the conclusion of your course, you can choose to either forge an immediate career in the industry, or enrol in a one-year Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Honours).Disciplines
