Course General Description

Develop the skills you need to create big advertising campaigns across digital, social, TV and print media, pitching your ideas in the boardrooms of the UK’s leading advertising agencies. Learn from lecturers who’ve worked for Nike, Disney and Superdry. You’ll meet professionals from big employers and show off your talent at D&AD’s New Blood exhibition, London. Make yourself at home in our creative studio and Mac suite, complete with industry-standard Adobe CC software. We’ll support you to work as a professional from your first year, as you explore advertising’s role in the consumer world and practices that make it effective. Throughout this course you'll develop an understanding of the importance of building a strong brand identity and of innovation in the marketplace. You’ll develop skills in art direction and copywriting as well as photography, design and moving image.

School General Description

The University of Gloucestershire is a public university based in Gloucestershire, England. It is located over three campuses, two in Cheltenham and one in Gloucester, namely Francis Close Hall, The Park, Oxstalls and The Centre for Art and Photography being near to Francis Close Hall. The university provides almost 100 undergraduate courses and around 57 taught post-graduate courses within eight schools. Every year our students complete over 4,000 placements and internships in the UK and abroad. From London Fashion Week and the BBC, to beachfront hotels in South Carolina or fast paced A&E departments – our students push themselves to graduate a step ahead.
