Course General Description

'- Analyze and understand urban and regional processes from a critical and interdisciplinary perspective taking into account the different scales of the territory, the plurality of actors involved in the development and the influence of social, economic, cultural, political and ecological forces both locally and global. - Interpret urban-regional development from the perspective of cities and regions of the global South, more specifically from Latin American reality. - It empowers students to understand the different theoretical and instrumental approaches to participatory and sustainable planning and identify the different methods of territory analysis. - It provides alternatives to develop skills in a specific area of concentration.
