Course General Description

The Fashion and Textiles curriculum area encompasses a broad range of activities and disciplines. The two pathways are closely related, allowing students a range of options for developing skills in specific areas. We encourage students to develop their individual strengths and support them in creating a personal and creative portfolio. Starting in 2017/18, all Foundation Diploma in Art and Design students who successfully complete the year will be guaranteed a place on an undergraduate course at UAL.

EU citizens: £5280 plus registration fee £140 Non EU citizens:£15920 plus registration fee £140

Use of Digital Media for Design Solutions
Collage and Photomontage

Requirements

One or a combination of the following accepted full level 3 qualifications:
-1 A Level at grade C or above
-Pass at BTEC Level 3 National Diploma /or other level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts
- Or equivalent EU/International qualifications, such as International Baccalaureate Diploma
And three GCSE passes at grade 4 or above (grade A*-C).
Entry to this course will also be determined by audition
APEL (Accreditation of Prior (Experiential) Learning:
Related academic or work experience
The quality of the personal statement
A strong academic or other professional reference
IELTS level 5.0 with a minimum of 4.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking. You must take the IELTS Academic Test for UKVI, no other test can be accepted
Visualisation skills (e.g. drawing, photography, 3D works)
