Course General Description

MA Curating and Collections at Chelsea College of Arts focuses on developing the skills needed to curate a range of art and design objects within the context of public and private collections. You will work alongside the established curatorial team at Chelsea Space, our on-site gallery. You will handle a range of collections held by UAL. This will help you explore current debates and practices in curating.

School General Description

Central Saint Martins is a world-famous arts and design college and part of the University of the Arts London (UAL). The main campus is located in the award-winning Granary Building at the centre of London’s King’s Cross. The College’s alumni include notable artists and designers who have challenged and shaped the world around us (not to mention Turner Prize laureates and Academy Award winners, as well as a glut of Royal Designers for Industry and Royal Academicians). Central Saint Martins believes that widening participation in art and design higher education is essential to nurturing the artists and designers of the future.
