Course General Description

During the course, you learn how to capture and retain attention through images. You develop visual skills and design sharp, stimulating and sometimes poignant illustrations, by hand and digitally. Another important component of the programme involves research on techniques, media, facts and assertions. Through your work, you interrogate and respond to the world around you. You develop your own signature style and visual idiom. By the end of the course, you’ll be an illustrator who has something to say, who knows how to engage an audience and who organises encounters with the outside world. You’ll have your own perspective and be ready to enter professional practice.
