Course General Description

The theatre arts program provides a comprehensive education in theatre within the context of a broad liberal arts course of study. It is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre. The curriculum emphasizes the theoretical, the historical, and the practical. The program provides a foundation in dramatic literature, theatre and film history, play-writing, and production. Advanced courses are available in acting, scene and costume design, lighting, theatre production, and cinema studies and production.
